Streak Run
Overview
The Streak Run widget helps you keep track of your run streak and makes your streak count easily accessible on your watch. You configure the start date of your streak and at midnight every day the counter is increased. It's honor based, there is no verification that you actually did run.
Requirements
Garmin watch. Supported models:
- Fenix Series
- Forrunner Series
There is no reason the Widget shouldn´t work on other models, feel free to try. I'm happy to do simulator tests for other models on request.
Installation
Connect IQ
No support yet. Will start on that soon.
Windows
- Download file to your computer (see Downloads)
- Connect garmin watch to computer
- Open file explorer and locate folder "D:\Garmin\Apps" (replace "D" with correct drive name)
- Copy download streakcounter.prg to the Garmin\Apps folder
- Disconnect watch from computer
The widget is now installed. To find it scroll through your Widgets with the up and down buttons.
Installation - Mac
No official support, should be the same process as for Windows but on my Mac my Garmin watch does not appear in Finder. Feel free to try

Configuration
The widget is configured on the watch. Scroll through your Widgets with the up and down buttons to find the Streak Counter widget. There are 2 ways to set the start date.
Option 1
- Press start button (top button on right side)
- Set start date with up/down buttons and start to move to next field and confirm
Option 2
- Press and hold menu (middle button on left side of watch)
- Press start button to enter Widget configuration
- Set start date with up/down buttons and start to move to next field and confirm
Now you are all set.
Removing the widget
To uninstall the widget enter it and then
- Press and hold menu (middle button on left side of watch)
- Scroll to Remove Widget
